How do you love none child of yours? 
My fav is Lestat aswell. He is a real rebell. He fears nobody and he never gives up.
Next on my list would be Armand. I just loved reading his story. He´s wise but the same time like a child.
Vitorrio I liked aswell, though he doesn´t know any of the other vampires. I liked his story very, very much. He got more of that ancient middle age legends than the others and that was just adoreable.

No, I am not jealous.... No....
Anyway, my favorit character is ... Nicolas de Lenfent.
And, because he's only there for about 1/2 a book I also love Marius, Armand and Louis.
I don't like Lestat and Akasha.

My favourite is Maharet.
I like the way she is watching about her family and what she is willing to take on her shoulder to protect her family and all the once she loves.

After having finished "Blood and Gold" I really love Marius. Not everything he's ever done was good, or lets say, some things I don't appreciate, but generally he is an interesting character. And he is lonely and somehow sad, but I think he can be really possessiv and anoying as well, when you are too close to him.
