This thread is here to discuss certain aspects and parts of the book with probably giving the story away. As the title says, THERE WILL BE SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD, so if you don't want to read them before you read the book, watch out. To handle the problem of discussion and spoiler please make your posts the following way: Type the title of the book at the beginning, then leave a few lines empty and finally start discussing the topic. The sense of this thread should be to discuss different aspects of the books and find answers to appearing questions. I just start with an example. BLOOD AND GOLD I still have about 100 pages to go, but I am not quite sure what I should think of the way Marius treats Bianca. Why does he transferm her? Was it just his hunger and lust, or any deeper reasons. I think I can remember, that in some other book there is a reference that - I think it was Armand- someone saw a picture of an immortal looking like a Boticelli painting. But still I am quite wondering, if she survives. I am not entirly sure what I should think of this and if I like the fact that Marius transferms her. He does not reallz seem to love her, but did it more for his own comfort. And the other fact is, that I don@t really like Bianca as an imortal. I am not sure, if she is strong enough to endure it. - But I'll see as I go on reading.

*lol* I should take more care which computer I'm on. english or german keypad... Anyway, back on topic SPOILER Yes, kinda. But as companions they just don't seem right. I don't know, I can't explain what it is, but Bianca seems a bit to weak to "survive" as a Vampire. Thats why I wonder, if she really survives. Well, I'll find oout soon. Btw I like the encounter with the Talamasca. Good old Raymond Gallant, very good! *gg*

Spoiler - Blood and Gold OK, just finished the book yesterday. Amazing! I love it. Read the lat 60 page or so in one go. And it's kindao so sad at the end. I mean now Marius reaction to the happenings in Queen of the damned make much mor sense. After knowing his whole life, basically. Oh, yes, he is definitly my favorit besides Nicki. Is Lestat really just 10 years in the blood, when he meets Marius? I had the feeling he was older. Anyway, I am still excited about that book.
